Yes. There are many different ways to help make your website more secure. For WordPress sites we recommend WordFence Security in addition to using strong passwords and keeping them secure on a jump drive, on paper or in an offline computer. You can also purchase and install an SSL certificate to further secure your website.

If your website has been hacked, please email info@fatcatwebhosting.com. This is one of the reasons it is critical to keep a current backup of your website in cPanel® AND also a copy on your local PC or external drive. Don’t panic – we are here to help. 🙂
